As a hub for Honolulu’s contemporary culture and creativity, THE MODERN HONOLULU is continually bringing new experiences to the forefront. The hotel’s participation in the “Eat, Think, Drink!” series is no exception. You're invited to join us, April 25, 2017, for the second event in this quarterly series designed to connect audiences with innovators who are changing the way we look at the Hawaiian food culture
Developed by the Hawai’i Agricultural Foundation, the upcoming “Eat, Think, Drink!” will change the way you think about lunch … specifically school lunches. The restaurant scene is filled with “Farm to Table” establishments. Now, the inspired chefs of Hawaii’s culinary renaissance are turning their attention to children so they can benefit from a “Farm to School” experience.
The evening will bring leaders from Hawaii, as well as from other communities, together to share the real opportunities of implementing farm to school initiatives as Hawaii’s most innovative and inspiring chefs will share their stories and tasting dishes for guests to savor and enjoy.
Dishes will be paired with beverages from Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.
