Who says meetings have to be mundane?
Set your next meeting or event in an environment that inspires – one that balances uptime with downtime. One with such an uncommon approach to service, amenities and aesthetics, your group won’t mind getting to work.
THE MODERN HONOLULU is all of those things and more. In the core of cosmopolitan Honolulu (with easy proximity to the Hawaii Convention Center), our location is both functional and enviable. As a full-service resort, we provide not only the gathering and workspaces you require – but the sleek accommodations, unique onsite dining and exclusive indulgences and amenities you covet.
That’s THE MODERN HONOLULU way: exclusive; uncommon; with a level of service you won’t find at other Honolulu meeting facilities.
Our spaces are flexible to accommodate eight-person board meetings or seated banquets for 800. Intimately, our Meeting Studios bathe blond-wood conference tables and ergonomic chairs in natural light (three of the four studios open to private terraces). For a larger group, THE MODERN HONOLULU Sun Suite complements 1,300 square feet of lounge-y indoor space bathed in our neutral palette with a 1,500-square-foot outdoor terrace vibrant with views of Waikiki’s skyline and the Pacific. (The view pairs strikingly with a customized menu written personally for you by our Executive Chef Scott Toner that features 100% organic, largely local ingredients.)
For the grandest gathering, THE MODERN HONOLULU Ballroom is one of the largest on Oahu, with 9,200 square feet; three pre-function galleries; endless possibilities for configuration and a look of subtle sophistication that magnifies any event. Waikiki’s most exclusive nightclub, ADDICTION at THE MODERN HONOLULU, is also available for private gatherings – a reminder that anything worth celebrating deserves being celebrated in style. Beyond board meetings, THE MODERN HONOLULU can host anything you can dream – from benefit galas to birthday fetes.
The service and amenities that fill our spaces distinguish THE MODERN HONOLULU as the elite choice for meetings in Hawaii:
