Must possess a (2) two year college degree/ equivalent in a post-secondary school education; Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; (3) Three years nightlife supervisory/managerial experience; Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis; Punctuality and regular reliable attendance; (3) Three years’ experience in a fast paced, high volume, nightclub environment; Computer knowledge in Windows environment as well as prior experience with various PMS and POS systems; Ability to communicate in a second language; (4) Four year college/university program certificate in hospitality or related training.

Cashier/Server

on call

The Nightclub Cashier will be responsible for performing cashier activities at Addiction Nightclub while following The Modern Honolulu proper cash handling procedures policy. Follow all Hawaii State Liquor Laws.



Must have a least (1) one year of experience in the service/nightclub industry; Minimum of 18 years of age; Must possess a high school diploma/ equivalent (college graduate is preferred); previous hospitality, restaurant and/or hotel experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is desirable; Must possess (or able to obtain) a valid State of Hawaii Liquor Commission card; Must possess (or be able to obtain) Hawaii Dept. of Health Tuberculosis Clearance Certification; Must possess a good command of the English language and have the ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests and team members both in person and by telephone; Must be able to work in a fast paced/stressful working environment; Ability to speak a second language is preferred; Ability to exercise common sense and good judgment; work with others as part of a team; Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
