The Study Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Nightlife Professional. The Study Manager is responsible for developing the performance of our nightlife staff and ensures our guests have a memorable experience.



Responsibilities

  • - Leads the nightlife staff and reports directly to the Director of Restaurants and Bars
  • - Manages entertainment contracts

Director of Rooms

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Director of Rooms to oversee and lead all Rooms Division Departments in maximizing room revenues and occupancy. As a member of the Executive Committee, the Director of Rooms is a highly visible role participating in total hotel management and reports to the General Manager.



Responsibilities

  • - Leads all Rooms Division Departments to include Front Office, Guest Services, Guest Experience, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa and Security
  • - Develop the performance of all Rooms Division department managers to ensure the highest level of guest and employee satisfaction in a cost efficient manner
  • - Complete annual budgets for all Rooms Division departments and assist the General Manager in developing, implementing, monitoring and achieving the objectives of Sales Strategies, Pricing, Revenue Management, and the Operations/Capital Budget
  • - Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are fully implemented in all departments, including Human Resources, Safety and Emergency
  • - Protect and enhance the value of all hotel values through appropriate programs in repairs and maintenance, preventative maintenance, housekeeping, security and capital budgeting process
  • - Assist the General Manager in reviewing and approving all operating expenses for the hotel; and end of month expenses are in line with budget
  • - Perform other tasks associated as necessary to achieve the financial performance and goals of the company

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • - Bachelor's degree in hotel management, travel industry management, or related field required
  • - Minimum three (3) years of previous hospitality managerial experience leading the rooms department required
  • - Three (3) to five (5) years prior experience as a department head in Rooms Division preferred
  • - Prior experience as a Director of Rooms for a luxury hotel preferred
  • - Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • - Must have a strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis
  • - Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
