RAVISH is “Localicious"
THE MODERN HONOLULU is very excited to announce that RAVISH will be participating in the 5th Annual Localicious Hawai’i!
Localicious Hawai'i celebrates the essential role restaurants play in supporting local agriculture with a month-long dining out promotion. As an advocate for sustainable cuisine, RAVISH is honored to be a part of such an essential culinary event. Two hundred and sixty-two restaurants will be participating this year, including RAVISH and our Chef Keith Pajinag.
“Our mission is to strengthen Hawai‘i’s agricultural industry and the future of local food production,” said Denise Hayashi Yamaguchi, executive director of the Hawai’i Agricultural Foundation. “Localicious restaurants are an integral part of this movement, and we thank them for coming together to make this year’s campaign the biggest ever.”
During Localicious, restaurants will design one or more menu items that incorporate locally grown, caught or raised products. For every Localicious dish ordered throughout March, restaurants will donate $1 to the Hawai'i Agricultural Foundation, which will help fund HAF's educational programs, including Where Would Be Without Seeds, Veggie U, AquaPono Aquaponics, In The Fields, and Kids Cooking Local. For his contribution, our talented Chef Keith has created a one-of-a-kind Miso Eggplant dish, an excellent study in seasonal flavors.
