School of Music, and Andy Song, the Regional Director of POW! WOW! Korea. There will also be incredible performances by the POW! WOW! School of Music and special guest, The Lucky Kidz. Meet the artistic geniuses behind this internationally acclaimed festival, which runs from February 10 to February 18th, 2018.

POW! WOW! Hawaii was founded eight years ago by local artists, Jasper Wong and Kamea Hadar to give a collective voice to emerging and established artists, particularly within the Kaka’ako district of Honolulu. In an ongoing effort to empower all types of artists, the POW! WOW! School of Music offers music education to a select group of Hawaii’s young musicians. Students between the ages of 13 and 18 may audition for a spot in the program. Not only will the selected students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of music theory, production and instrument instruction from industry professionals, they can also collaborate with each other on original compositions. Since so many of Hawaii’s youth attend public schools with limited funding for music programs, POW! WOW! School of Music was launched to provide Hawaii’s young artists with a valuable source for instruction and resources.
