MARRIAGE EQUALITY IN HAWAII
On Wednesday, November 13, 2013, Hawaii became the 15th state to legalize Marriage Equality allowing same-sex couples living or visiting the Aloha State to wed, starting December 2, 2013. More than half the Hawaii Senate Chamber's lawmakers spoke in support of the bill,
"This is nothing more than the expansion of Aloha in Hawaii," said Senator J. Kalani English

Don't forget your Hawaii wedding license! The Hawaii Department of Health highly recommends all couples complete their online application with payment by credit card before meeting with an agent.
Some helpful tips for you regarding your license:
Both parties need to appear together in person before a license agent to obtain a marriage or civil union license.
The online application will be available for the issuance of the license by an agent of the State of Hawaii for one year from the application date.
